I am highly upset that my future ex-husband David Beckham is rumored to be playing for AC Milan in January. It’s just for a few months so he can play for England team. Victoria Beckham will be remain here in the US, but will travel back and forth to see him. I’ve always wanted to visit Italy. I really do sound like a stalker now.
I love Skype. I have been using Skype since 2005. I have called England, Sweden, France, and have even had a home phone number through them. So imagine my surprise when Oprah started using it on her show. I almost spilled my drink. Someone Skypes from their living room or hotel room to her studio on almost every episode of her show since earlier this year. What gives? And now everyone is all on it like white on rice. I’m just stating, for the record, that I’ve been using it since May 2005. That’s right, Oprah, I was first. Here is some more info about Skype.
I’ve had a lot of time to think about things, you know, since I’ve been unemployed for a few months. Hours of Oprah, Tyra, The View and The Today Show prompted me to re-evaluate my purpose in life. No my cheeky monkeys, I really don’t think I’m meant to be the second woman in history to experience the immaculate conception. I know that I am supposed to be here in Florida after numerous attempts to get a job in NY or as a flight attendant. So what now? The one resounding bit of advice that was offered repeatedly was to do what you love, and the money will follow. Hmmmmm….perhaps I should start blogging about the things I love, like food, movies, tv shows, and sex. Wait, I already do. Doh!
I got a job again…finally. I’m working at a nice boutique hotel AND I will start my retail job soon. Yes, I have two jobs. I’m already tired with the hotel job, I don’t even want to know what will happen when the second job starts. But I’m happy to be working. In other news, the drain to my tub is clogged. I have emptied two containers of fake Draino into it. I called Roto Rooter and they wanted to charge me $239 to clear the clog. I said that was unbelivably high. The technician went back to his truck to “see how low he could go” and returned with a price of $150. Oh hell no. I’m going to do some research and figure it out myself. Until then, it’s a whore’s bath for Shenae.
