crazy, hot girl who lives in squalor, but lives for pizza…

Thumbs down

I went to a sneak preview for the movie The Forsaken last night.  It was cool. If you want to see a bunch of hot young men running around in wife beater shirts and blood, go see it. If you want to be entertained and are looking for something like Blade, don’t do it.  Just go rent Blade at Blockbuster and save yourself the trouble.

Crossed fingers

This is depressing.  Dharma and Greg are having major trouble, and Felicity and Ben are breaking up.  I am totally going nuts now.  I will have a verdict on the house situation by Friday.  I know that if it doesn’t happen now, it’s for a reason.

I spent an exciting weekend unbraiding my hair.  I watched the following movies:  Shanghai Noon, Magnolia, The Princess Bride, Shakespeare in Love, and The Grifters.  Yes, it took me the entire weekend!  I did manage to get smashed at yet another happy hour party.  You know you have been to a bar too many times when the bartenders remember the last shot you had the last time you were there.  Not good. Don’t worry, I managed to sleep most of it off.  I did watch Ally McBeal last night.  Man was it funny.  I love that show.

Horrorscope

From this week’s horoscope:

Instead of the soft sounds of a romantic violin, you could be hearing the harsh, discordant notes of a blaring trumpet during the first part of the week, Scorpio. Something has caused a disconnect between you and your partner that erupts periodically in irritated retorts and unwarranted criticism. You’ll have to work a little harder than usual to breach this gap, but it can be done if you avoid the temptation to retreat emotionally. There is some substance to your partner’s anger, so listen carefully to get to the real issue. Success and rapprochement will come Thursday, and the reconnection will be sweet. Plan a special date for Friday night, and spend most of the weekend helping your mate with a pet project.

What partner? Last time I checked, it was my picture listed next to the definition of celibacy in the dictionary.

No more ass tax

I gave 500 bucks to my real estate agent yesterday as a deposit for a house I want to buy.  500 dollars.  That is a lot of beer.  I am sulking now.  I am thinking about all the beer and pizza I could buy with 500 dollars.  It was so hard to let go of the check.  I felt like Whoopi Goldberg in the scene from the movie Ghost where she is gripping the four million dollar check and doesn’t want to give it away to the charity nuns.  Everyone is telling me that it is worth it.  They say I won’t be taxed up the ass any more.  I hope so.

TGI Monday

I hope your Easter was as filled with joy and lots of food as mine. I ate enough for six people.  Enough nice stuff.  Let’s talk about my drunken stupor at the happy hour party on Friday.  I was still a little pissed about the Champ not calling me or giving me an explanation for last weekend.  In fact, he emailed me on Wednesday, acting like nothing was wrong.  Don’t worry, I let him have it and have not talked to him since.  But after three fishbowls of liquor, three shots, and a truck load of beer, I was feeling good. I danced the night away.  I think I gave my card to some hot guy, but I can’t remember if it was a good thing or a bad thing to do.  I wasn’t even thinking about getting a pen.  Talk about being drunk!  Saturday was wonderful because the weather was awesome. I wore shorts!  I walked my neighbor’s dog for about an hour and a half.  It was cool.  I cannot wait until summer is in full effect.

By George, I think I’ve got it

I have to say that I did see a very nice little house last night. It had hardwood floors, exposed brick and a cute backyard. It was definitely in my price range. The kitchen was extra small. I don’t know what to do about that problem, and I don’t know where I am going to put my gym. I am going to look at some more houses tomorrow and see what happens.

Time is not on my side

I know the house hunting situation is something that I talk about in almost every post, but I have to vent. This is one of the hardest things that I have done in my life! I have friends calling me and my realtor calling me about houses. I walk around the neighborhood each week to see if any new houses get listed. It is very time consuming. This is why I end up spending an hour or no time at all on my screenplay, let alone my web page blog. Sometimes I think I am going to run out of ideas or funny things to say. Other times I think that I cannot make my site as beautiful as the Angel Eyes movie site. That web designer put a lot of time, effort, and flash programming into that one.

Gilmore Girls

I actually watched this show called Gilmore Girls last night. People have been raving about it, and I can see why. The show is very well written and the entire cast moves the plot forward without a hitch. I like shows like that. I am in the process of updating my webpage. I have about three sections done so far. Hopefully, you all will like it as much as I do!

Next

I went to a dinner club thing on Friday at the Bowman Restaurant. It was fun and the food was fantastic. Then we headed downstairs to the comedy club and saw two great comedians. One of them actually came back to my friend’s house and partied with us. It was really cool. I got stood up for a date on Saturday. I called the Champ, because I figured he would have forgotten. He said he made plans with some of his friends. Whatever. He asked to call me back in five minutes because he was in a mall. That was the last I heard from him. Hopefully, he won’t try to email me with some lame excuse as to why he never called me back. I hate when guys say that they were busy and all this lame ass shit. The fact of the matter is, I am obviously not an important factor in their life to take five minutes of their time for a phone call. To put it bluntly, just tell me you’re not interested and move on.
